Introducing, Scrapbook of an Unfound Songstress

by Vicky Nolan

So the cat’s out the bag! I have written a book!! It feels SO weird to say it out loud!! (It’s been my little secret for a couple of years now.) Writing this book has been such a learning curve. It’s not only my story but a collaborative effort of many people. I wrote the book with my Dad after he encouraged me to share the stories that go with my songs. Then there are the stories themselves which include all of the amazing people who have shaped my journey; my music and who I am. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for sharing your passion with me, it has helped me realise my own truth and has brought me to where I am today 🙌🏻

The songs will be available soon and the book is available to order on Amazon NOW! I really hope you enjoy my scrapbook of stories and the songs that go with it. I’ll be sharing more on here and other social media platforms so keep your eyes peeled! 👀💕👏🏻

Beautiful Brides, Barns and a Carousel

by Vicky Nolan

I thought I'd do a little wedding themed post to celebrate another amazing year of singing at some truly unforgettable celebrations. Upon reflection I've sung at some absolutely gorgeous weddings so far this year. I've hop-footed all around the country and visited some stunning venues: hotels, barns, country manor's, estates, farms, and family homes all looking Instagram-perfect. I always feel so honoured that I get to be a part of such a special day for the couples that invite me to sing. I'm so lucky I get to experience the excitement and magic of a wedding on a regular basis!

It's hard to pick a favourite venue but I think Preston Court in Canterbury was amazing. Kentish barns with a Victorian Carousel and ornate vintage backdrops. Dream-wedding material. Other highlights this year was singing the first dance for Laura and Ben at their home in Nottinghamshire. As the sun went down, they danced on the lawn whilst I sang The Maccabee's 'Toothpaste Kisses' as their family and friends surrounded them with glowing sparklers. Magical! Singing an acoustic version of John Legend's 'All Of Me' for Amy's walk down the aisle to Ben at Ardencote Manor in Warwick was also very special. A gorgeous couple! Honestly, I could go on and on!

So many special moments that I'll cherish forever. Thank you for having me!
